The Dax Shepard Double Bill

In honour of the new series of Top Gear America, hosted by Dax Shepard with Rob Corddry and Jethro Bovingdon, Chris and Marty watch a double bill of Dax movies with Hit and Run and CHiPs. In other news, Marty drinks some whisky and Chris wants to be a racing driver.

But first, Drive to Survive Season 3 has been announced to arrive on Netflix on March 19th. The Australian V8 series have also added a lot of old races to their YouTube channel.

Chris and Marty also review Top Gear America, now streaming on Motortrend and hosted by Dax Shepard with Rob Corddry and Jethro Bovingdon. While this is not available in the UK directly, it can be with a VPN.

With Dax front and centre, this is a good opportunity to review two films written, directed and starring Dax. Chris talks Hit and Run (2012) while Marty discusses CHIPS (2017).

Since our last episode Henry Catchpole has gone to Hethel for Lotus Elise Sport 240 - The LAST EVER Elise.

For our YouTube picks, Chris has just finished building a Lego Bugatti Chiron so has picked a video looking at how a full sized Lego Bugatti was built and run under its own power. At the other end of the scale is Chris's channel pick - The HERO-ERA. This is historic, long distance rallying recorded by HERO-ERA (Historic Endurance Rallying Organisation) for those who love properly old cars doing properly epic rally routes.

Marty picks a classic of David Evans in an Elise at the Bathurst Mount Panorama circuit, finding gaps where they shouldn't exist, and moving through the grid at pace. For a channel, it's the compelling, honest vTuned Garage rebuilding all manner of cars.
